BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in NE Portland (Hollywood) is looking for a full-time ER/ICU Technician to join our team.

Roaring laughter, collaboration and best intentions fill our days, with an amazingly skilled team of DVMs with services in Emergency/ICU, Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Surgery, and Internal Medicine. Our support staff includes 4 VTS, experienced CVTs and an outstanding Teaching Team.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will:

Triage and obtain patient history
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
Place peripheral IVC's and advanced catheters such as Central Lines or PICC lines.
Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
Perform diagnostics and outpatient care
Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
