We have a wonderful opportunity here at Purovets for a Veterinary Surgeon at the longest established independent veterinary practice in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. This buzzing town has a wide range of quality pubs, bars, restaurants and independent shops alongside an impressive calendar of annual events. With excellent travel links to nearby Halifax and Leeds, this is an ideal location to live and work.
Our client was founded in the 1970's and offers the latest in medical and surgical treatments. They are RCVS accredited and offer a full range of diagnostic equipment including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound machine, digital x-ray facilities, dental equipment and much more.
You will be joining an experienced and friendly team of veterinary practitioners who are dedicated to providing the very best animal care possible. This independent practice has a small, family-oriented, friendly ethos with all staff members being long-standing. Their emphasis is on client care and a family-run community feel.
The ideal candidate will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills and be a positive team player.
The Rota:
• Full time and part time applications welcome
• 1:3 weekend rota working Saturday (9am - 1pm) and Sunday (10.30am - 11.30am)
The Benefits:
• Salary £35,000 to £60,000 DOE
• Generous CPD allowance
• RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Certificates are supported and funded
• 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays including one working weekend per year
