This position is a full-time (30 hour/week) position. Working (3) ten-hour shifts is required Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Who we are:
Stonecreek Animal Hospital is located in Irvine and is easily accessible from the 405, 5, 261 and 133 freeways. We are a general practice that takes care of dogs and cats. We have a team of 3 full time veterinarians. And a friendly team of RVT's, Tech Assistants and CSR's.
What we are looking for:
Stonecreek Animal Hospital is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
As a CSR, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your work will range from managing the front desk by providing the best patient and customer service support to record keeping, scheduling, and maintaining a clean front of house.
Role Responsibilities:
- Standing and greeting clients with enthusiasm
- Answering a multi-line phone system.
- Maintaining accurate patient record keeping using paperless software.
- Following proper hospital policies and procedures.
- Gather client/patient history and educate on annual care.
- Schedule daily appointments, confirm and organize next day procedures/surgeries.
- Outline costs and fees in a positive light while supporting hospital payment policies.
- Processing of incoming emails including distribution and answering of emails.
- Process online pharmacy platforms and facilitate timely responses.
- Ensure comfort of clients and patients during wait times, explain any delays to clients, ensure clients and patients are seen and treated in a professional, timely, and competent manner.
- Work with doctors, technicians, and practice manager to ensure patients and clients receive the best care.
- Monitor housekeeping and clean-up duties to ensure hospital (lobby, front desk, exam rooms, bathroom, food shelves, etc.) areas are clean, and properly stocked.
- Coordinates with the Practice Manager on client issues, facility repairs, and ordering maintenance of front desk equipment as needed.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Previous veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required
- Friendly and supportive phone demeanor
- Team player
- Eager to learn and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with a smile
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $18 - $20 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
