We are a well-established, privately owned, General Practice and Emergency (GP/ER) hospital located in Davenport, FL, seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practice Veterinarian to collaborate and lead our growing general practice team.

- Exotic and Avian Cases: In addition to dogs and cats, we also see a wide range of avian and exotic species, so if you have a passion (or would like to learn) for working with birds, reptiles, and other non-traditional pets, this is the place for you.
What We're Looking For:
- A Licensed Veterinarian in the state of Florida (or eligible to become licensed) that is interested in:
- Developing and Implementing Standards of Care: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive medical protocols and treatment guidelines for the clinic, ensuring they are evidence-based, ethical, and aligned with the highest standards of veterinary practice.
- Protocol Review and Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of existing protocols and make necessary adjustments to improve patient care, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration with the Medical Director: Work closely with the Medical Director to align standards and protocols with the overall goals of the practice and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead a General Practice Veterinarian Team: Help explore and develop new programs and revenue streams within a general practice setting.
- Strong Clinical Skills in general practice, with the ability to handle a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
- Compassion and Empathy for animals and their owners, with excellent communication skills.
- Team Player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to our hospital's growth.
- Exotic and Avian Experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to provide mentorship for those interested in expanding their knowledge in this area.
