RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Venue Sales Coordinator - Remi La Grange, you're the face of Remi until the contract's signed. And these are the results that you'll be hired to accomplish:

" Lightning-Fast Lead Momentum

When a lead comes in, you're all over it, bb. You'll turn leads into opportunities with lightning-fast responses and thoughtful follow-ups, making it ridiculously easy for clients to say "BIG YES" to taking the next step in the sales process. Thanks to you, our sales pipeline is thriving and full of qualified opportunities ready to be won.

" Fully-Booked Venue Calendar

Keep our calendar absolutely brimming with booked events. You'll guide our clients through the rest of the Remi sales process by giving fun, vibe-y tours, answering questions quickly, and following up fast - turning interest into income over and over and over again. No opportunities left hanging, no dates left empty.

" Organized & Up-to-Date CRM

Our CRM is where the magic happens, and you'll keep it immaculate . You'll ensure that every interaction, status, and detail - for every client - is organized, accurate and up-to-date. Thanks to your meticulous record-keeping, everyone knows exactly where things stand in the sales process - no guesswork, no missing info, just a system that keeps the team on track.

" Calm & Capable Event Support

You'll be the calm go-to for a handful of events at Remi - confirming final details, acting as the point of contact, and making sure things run smoothly on the day-of.

As a disclaimer : This is a new-ish position, in a rapidly growing company, in an always-changing industry. That means that this position and its responsibilities will continue to evolve. So, if you're change-adverse, this job ain't it.

That being said - if you're good with change, and are willing to try new things - you'll love this job, and it'll love you right back.

PAY

We pay a base wage of $20 - $24, depending on experience, plus a performance-based bonus for each event you personally book - no caps, no mystery math. Total compensation for this position will likely fall between $22 - $26 per hour.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is part-time (with room to eventually become full-time.), with a flexible schedule designed around the demands of our sales activities. This position will regularly work nights and weekends - starting with Tuesday and Thursday nights, as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Here are some of our must-haves & would-like-to-haves:
  • At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably within the Catering, Events, or Hospitality industry
  • Very comfortable communicating with clients over email, phone, and in person
  • Highly organized, with fast, consistent follow-up and follow-through
  • Extremely detail-oriented - you triple-check your calendar and spell guests' names right the first time
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
  • Must have the ability to regularly work 15-20 hours per week
  • Tech-savvy with previous experience using CRM's - a plus
  • Familiarity with Pipedrive, Tripleseat, and / or Total Party Planner - a major plus.
