LEGENDS & THE PROJECT A'S LAS VEGAS BALLPARK

As one of the employees of this exciting project, you will play a pivotal role in driving Ticket Sales and Service for the new A's Las Vegas Ballpark. The A's plan to break ground on their new ballpark on the former site of the Tropicana hotel in the summer of 2025. Shaped by its location on the Las Vegas Strip, the 33,000-person capacity ballpark will offer an outdoor feel with a climate-controlled interior. With over 30 unique seating experiences, the ballpark will feature various experiences for fans, from premium suites to more casual, interactive seating options. The tiered seating is designed to bring fans closer to the action, with some of the closest seats to home plate in all of MLB. The A's are set to host their first Opening Day at the new ballpark in 2028.

THE ROLE

The Venue Admin Coordinator will serve as an integral part of the project team, reporting to and supporting the Vice President, Sales & Service as well as other members of the leadership team. An important member of the team, this individual will serve as a key point of connectivity between the leadership team, clients, internal teams (sales, service, premium) and external vendors. Project Coordination of key initiatives, special strategy projects, and sales events will be a major component of the role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as executive support to the VP Sales & Service & leadership team assisting with tasks including, but not limited to, expenses, calendar management, meeting coordination and preparation, etc.
  • Project manage key initiatives (sales center design, day-to-day office operations, research & analysis, and reporting)
  • Attend all departmental meetings as needed, take and distribute notes/action
  • Coordinate and manage all events to support sales and service, including in-market events, watch parties, sales events at the preview center, premium road trips, and others.
  • Support and help plan (virtual and live) for internal team members, prospecting, and entertainment opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal Legends corporate departments (Marketing/Creative, IT, HR, Legal, Finance, ), while serving as a central communication stakeholder for the Sales & Marketing team
  • Assist in organizing bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, where
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of gift requests for both internal and external recipients (develop and maintain vendor relationships, budgeting, etc.)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years' experience including, but not limited to, executive level administrative support, customer service, project management, event coordination and sales & marketing.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity, and desire to grow professionally
  • Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry is a benefit (but not required)
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with entrepreneurial spirit
  • A team player, with excellent organizational experience, as well as effectively being able to communicate internally and externally with senior management
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to be self- directed/self-starter while managing multiple projects/initiatives at the same time
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as well as nights, weekends, holidays as required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and basic accounting principles
  • Knowledge of general event planning
