Our family is growing and we are in need of a Vehicle Buying Center BDC Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Proactively contact potential private sellers through phone calls, emails, and digital methods to generate interest in selling their vehicles to McCandless Ford.
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, providing detailed information about the vehicle selling process, scheduling appraisals, and building trust with private sellers.
  • Work with the appraisal team to facilitate vehicle inspections, using market data to ensure fair and competitive offers for private party vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and transactions in the dealership's CRM system to track progress and follow-ups.
  • Assist in managing paperwork for vehicle purchases, including titles, purchase agreements, and compliance with state regulations.
  • Follow up with sellers post-transaction to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and encourage referrals or future business.
  • Partner with the appraisal, sales, and service teams to ensure acquired vehicles meet dealership standards and are processed efficiently.
  • Outgoing, organized, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a customer-first mindset.
  • Attends meetings as requested.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as assigned.
  • Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
Job Qualifications:
  • Strong phone and email communication skills, excellent customer service, and proficiency with CRM systems. Basic negotiation skills and familiarity with appraisal tools are a plus.
  • Understanding of vehicle makes, models, and market valuation tools (e.g., Kelley Blue Book, Black Book) for private party transactions.
  • Valid Driver's license.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a BDC, customer service, or automotive sales role, with experience in lead generation or private party vehicle purchases preferred. Dealership experience is a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred (not required).
