Vascular Lab Supervisor

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Vascular Lab Supervisor is a professional that has direct oversight of all daily operations in the Vascular Lab as well as ensuring quality and regulatory compliance directly performs vascular ultrasound procedures. The leader must possess a good working knowledge of the diagnostic process. The leader must serve as a role model for other sonographers as well as coordinate the work flow in the Vascular Lab. The leader must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. BASIC KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Education / License / Certification: Graduate of an Accredited Sonography program required RVT through ARMDS or RVS through CCI Registry required (New graduates from an accredited Sonography program - must obtain registry or certification within 180 days of hire) Experience / Skills: One to two years' experience in vascular sonography preferred
