Job Details

Types of cases/procedures seen per day?

• This is for a Saturday Call

Procedures that are considered on call:
i. Nephrostomy tubes
ii. Abscess drainage
iii. Dialysis access
iv. IVC Filters (temp and perm)
v. Patients with acute cholecystitis for cholangiography
vi. Thoracentesis (for patients in respiratory distress)
vii. Venous access (where the IV access team cannot establish a line)

Number of cases per day?
0-2

Anything outside of the general scope of practice that your physicians see?
Reading diagnostic studies are not necessary but are welcomed if they were interested.

Hours? Call needed?
On Call 8a-4p with the last request time being 2p. At the moment we need coverage on Saturdays. Not necessarily every Saturday would be required.

What schedule would you be looking to utilize our provider for and how quickly can you get them credentialed? Are there specific dates needed or can you work around our providers availability?
Normally 90 days depending on status of NC license

What type of support staff do you have?
We will have one RN and one Technologist on call. An additional technologist will be on standby if the IR MD feels that it is a complicated case and requires an extra set of hands. RN supervisor will be called if conscious sedation requested
