The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through an understanding of end-user needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers' business problem/goals.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding and experience applying Human Centered design principles and best practices.
  • Previous experience designing web app design systems - both visual and UX systems - required.
  • Previous experiences designing applications incorporating generative AI preferred.
  • Previous experience working with front-end devs to create working code-based prototypes preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of accessibility UX best practices and principles preferred.
  • Ability to present design concepts and explain their uses and function.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, high level of visual design polish.
  • Collaboration and independence.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
  • 10+ years experience required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.18 to $66.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
