JOB TITLE: UX Researcher IV
LOCATION: 100% remote role (preference for Seattle - must be able to occasionally utilize onsite UX lab)
DURATION: 6 months (possible extension for another 6 months)
PAY RANGE: $84 - $94/hr
TOP 3 SKILLS:
- 8 + years of experience moderating user research sessions and turning qualitative data into actionable insights
- Experience with all aspects of research execution, including planning, participant recruitment, moderation, data analysis, writing reports, and presenting insights to stakeholders
- Requires experience in the gaming industry, preferably in game testing or quality assurance.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to join our team, supporting the execution of research studies for Oculus Studios VR/MR games. As a UX Researcher on our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with researchers, designers, PMs, and engineers to identify, define, and deliver meaningful products into the world.
Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute research roadmaps
- Lead various research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle
- Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market plan
- Manage research vendors to augment the work of the research team.
Qualifications: - 8 + years of experience moderating user research sessions and turning qualitative data into actionable insights
- Experience with all aspects of research execution, including planning, participant recruitment, moderation, data analysis, writing reports, and presenting insights to stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, HCI, or related field
- Passion for video games and/or VR
Additional preferred requirements: - Video game user research experience
- VR user research experience
- Education and experience with survey writing and analysis
- Experience analyzing quantitative data
Requirements: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses
Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences
Ability to use a VR headset for work
Located in the Seattle area, with ability to utilize onsite UX labs on occasion (most work can be performed remotely)
