Job Description

Our client, a family-owned Midwestern grocery/retailer striving to better people's lives in all communities, seeks a UX Researcher.

Location: Preference is Local, then Remote - located in 6 states (MI, OH, IN, KY, IL, and WI)

Start Date estimate: 4/14/2025

End Date estimate: 9/27/2025

Equipment will be provided.

Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher with 2-5 years of experience to facilitate data-driven decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
  • The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating cross-functionally, and bringing a voice to the users
Requirements:
  • Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research using an array of research techniques
  • Analyze users' behavioral and attitudinal data to uncover customer pain points and unmet needs
  • Ability to conduct a range of research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, ethnographic studies, contextual inquiry, and concept testing
  • Synthesize and present research findings in context.
  • Leverage human-centered design principles to develop journey maps, user personas, and jobs to be done.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and Development teams to regularly integrate user feedback into the product design and development process.
  • Ability to accurately scope research initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders. Leverage existing data and the ability to tie insights to analytics.
  • Work in a SAFE Agile environment, coordinating projects by sprints.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of cross-functional teams. Effectively manage vendor partner relationships ensuring that output meets internal expectations
Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with UX Research Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, Visual Design, or similar field.
  • Solid understanding of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Experience with unmoderated testing and prototyping tools Solid grasp on Human human-centered design and Expert written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail Portfolio demonstrating your expertise and ability to articulate your process
  • Positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and openness to giving and receiving feedback
  • Experience Level: Minimum 2 years of experience in UX Research
