UX Production Specialist

Location: Remote but local to Cupertino, CA, Culver City, CA, or New York, NY

Duration: 12 months to start

Pay: $72/hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options)

Planet Interactive is excited to invite a talented UX Production Specialist to join our renowned Fortune 500 client for a 12-month contract. This role operates on a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week and is remote, but candidates must be located near Cupertino, CA, Culver City, CA, or New York, NY.

As a UX Production Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in translating innovative design concepts into high-quality technical products. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about design and has a strong technical background. You'll be a vital member of a collaborative team, working closely with designers and engineers to deliver outstanding user experiences across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transform designs into functional technical products, including templates and themes, for multiple applications.
  • Create engaging user experiences by understanding the overall application flow and how end users interact with new features.
  • Oversee hands-on production and streamline workflow processes.
  • Collaborate with Content Design to develop new design templates effectively.
  • Build new templates accurately while adhering to established standards for delivery.
  • Conduct audits of template features to ensure alignment with design goals.
  • Test new template designs to identify discrepancies between design intentions and production realities.
  • Work with engineering teams to introduce new features when possible to enhance user experience.
  • Perform thorough testing of new templates and documentation.
  • Ensure seamless content integration while minimizing bugs during product builds.
  • Manage and track file changes using SourceTree and/or Terminal on GitHub.
  • Deploy updates based on engineering requirements and create Pull Requests for collaborative check-ins.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to refine processes and troubleshoot issues collaboratively.
  • Investigate and diagnose QA findings, communicating solutions effectively.
  • Engage with content engineering about updates and enhancements to tools based on user needs.
  • Proactively define and test improvements for Native Tools by collaborating with the technical team.
  • Stay informed about layout impacts related to new template designs.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in GitHub, Terminal, and Radar.
  • Management experience in a related domain.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Adept at identifying inconsistencies and maintaining high production standards in layout, typography, and color.
  • A talent for simplifying complex challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple files across various applications.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
  • Preferred experience in coding and software development.
  • Familiarity with complex technical workflows in software contexts.
  • Experience in software testing across diverse hardware platforms.
  • Proficient in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
