Job Summary:
We are looking for a UX Designer and Strategist to play a key role in shaping the user experience of our websites. This role will work on projects ranging from individual component designs to full section redesigns while also managing the day-to-day operations of our design system. You'll collaborate with digital strategy, product, technology, and content strategy teams to create user-centered, accessible, and data-driven solutions that enhance our website's usability and engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
  • As a member of the Marketing & Technology Product Team, you will:
  • Lead UX Strategy & Design: Develop and execute UX strategies for projects of varying scope, from individual UI components to multi-page experiences.
  • Design System Management: Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and usability across the website.
  • Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Ensure all designs align with ADA/WCAG guidelines, creating experiences that are accessible to users of all abilities.
  • Data-Driven & Customer Journey Design: Use user research, A/B testing, and analytics to inform design decisions, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams, including digital strategy, product, engineering, and content teams, to align UX decisions with business goals.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity design concepts, ensuring intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Usability Testing & Research: Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on insights.
  • Design Execution: Work across strategy and execution, from conceptualizing UX improvements to designing detailed, ready-for-development UI components
Skills & Experience:
  • Five plus (5)+ years in UX/UI design, with experience in both strategic and tactical aspects of design.
  • Proven experience designing user-friendly digital experiences, preferably for large-scale websites.
  • Experience in usability testing, user research, and A/B testing.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and ability to design with data-driven insights.
  • Deep knowledge of accessibility best practices (ADA, WCAG compliance) and inclusive design.
  • Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design system management.
  • Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, and how designs translate into code).
  • Ability to balance big-picture UX strategy with hands-on design execution.
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, including product managers, developers, and content strategists.
  • Previous experience in Healthcare or Hospital environment
  • Figma Proficiency: Expertly design and deliver comprehensive digital solutions in Figma, spanning wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Marketing-Driven Design: Proven ability to design compelling marketing web pages optimized for lead generation and conversion.
  • UX Strategy & Best Practices: Strong knowledge and application of UX design principles and strategic methodologies.
  • Information Architecture: Familiarity with evaluating, creating, and refining navigational structures and patterns to enhance user experience.
  • Design System Management: Utilize, expand, and maintain established brand design systems and component libraries.
  • Accessibility Compliance: Demonstrated expertise in ensuring all designs adhere to ADA/WCAG accessibility guidelin
  • Usability Testing & Research: Experience in planning and conducting usability tests on digital platforms, including test plan documentation and analysis.
  • Data-Driven Solutions: Ability to translate site analytics and user data into actionable design solutions that meet defined business goals.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams: digital strategy, product, engineering, creative, and content (including UX writing).
Portfolio Requirement: A linked digital portfolio showcasing relevant UX/UI design work is required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Familiarity with Storybook (preferred) to manage design-to-development workflows.
