Join us as a UX Designer Engineer for CIAM at Barclays
In this role, you will bring to life a new Digital Platform capability by transforming and modernising our digital estate to build a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its core.
This is an exciting and key role where you will adopt a Product Operating Model mindset, to truly hear the customer, business, and technical challenges and needs. You will support the adoption and build of new technology across multiple lines of business, alongside coding in Java. Your main daily activities include working with the lines of business to realize their needs through solutions, rapid prototyping, and proof of concepts.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Expertise in mapping and designing complex user journeys across systems and environments with multiple technologies
- Knowledge of authorization and authentication technologies such as SSO, MFA, and IAM solutions (e.g., Forgerock, Ping Authenticate, Oracle Auth, SailPoint)
- Strong experience with Web technologies, BDD testing, and Public Cloud (AWS)
- A desire to learn about the CIAM platform and user authentication across Barclays
- A willingness to challenge norms, deploy relationship-building skills, patience, and resilience, and translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
