SUMMARY We're looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Customer Success Manager to lead relationships with our utility partners and ensure the successful delivery of DR and DER programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, energy innovation, and operational excellence.
JOB DUTIES: - Function as the primary point of contact for utility customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and long-term program success.
- Monitor program performance using analytics tools; proactively identify risks and implement solutions to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams to relay customer feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Deliver insightful performance reports and strategic recommendations to help customers optimize their portfolios and meet regulatory or operational goals.
- Develop and execute customized success plans aligned with each customer's objectives and evolving needs.
- Track and report on key success metrics, including customer satisfaction, retention, and program impact.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in DR and DERs to provide thought leadership to customers.
- Support internal initiatives and contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer excellence.
MUST HAVES: - 4+ years of experience in customer-facing roles within the energy industry, ideally in DR, utility programs, or energy markets
- 2+ years of experience supporting utility customers, with a strong understanding of demand response programs and their role in grid reliability
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships and serve as a strategic advisor to customers
- Professional experience leveraging CRM systems, analytics platforms, and reporting tools
