We are excited to announce we are hiring Utility Workers to support our restaurants inside the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, WI.
As a vital member of our team, your role will be essential in ensuring our dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming for our guests and staff.
As a Utility Worker, you can expect to:
- Enhance the guest experience by maintaining clean and sanitizing work areas.
- Keep all surfaces and equipment (floors, ceilings, walls, windows, tables, grills, refrigerators, etc.) in top condition.
- Dispose of waste according to guidelines.
- Clear and reset dining tables between seating, as needed, and transport serviceware to the kitchen.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand or using a dishwasher, returning them to their proper places.
- Utilize specific chemicals and equipment to meet cleanliness standards.
- Assist guests with special requests and communicate their needs to the serving staff.
- Handle loading and unloading of supply trucks between storage and work areas.
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of food items.
- Fulfill other related duties as required.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Have 6 months of experience in a food service environment.
- Preferably hold a high school diploma.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Can read and understand English for effective communication with guests and staff.
- Have experience addressing guest service issues.
- Are able to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
