Job Title: User Tech Support Specialist - 2nd Shift (Remote)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr on W-2
Shift: 2nd (12 PM - 9 PM)
Job Summary:
The User Tech Support Specialist provides technical assistance and support to a global workforce, handling first and second-level issue resolution for hardware, software, and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for hardware/software issues, resolving or escalating as needed.
Log and track issues in the Enterprise Service Management tool .
Manage user accounts via Active Directory , including group membership and rights assignment.
Deploy and configure PC hardware/software (imaging, installation, data restoration).
Monitor enterprise systems using Solarwinds, SCCM, and SCOM .
Act as a liaison between users and internal support teams.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Microsoft desktop OS, applications, and PC hardware .
Strong communication and service desk support skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks.
Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft MCSA, or ITIL v3.
Experience: 3-5 years in Service Desk support .
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist employees on-site if required.
