User Experience System Design Location - Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Area (Client's office 3 days a week from day1) Project description This role champions long-term progressive enhancements, scaling strategies, and cultivating system advocates. A growth evangelist focuses on fostering strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, promoting data-driven decision-making that leads to iterative system improvements. The role strives to create cross-team advocates who support, endorse, and help drive adoption of the system throughout the organization.
Responsibilities - Advocate for the scalable design system foundations that support product expansion at a platform level
- Ability to share program vision, technical roadmap, and terminology with business and technical stakeholders
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and outreach via support channels including internal website content
- Join leadership meetings, internal IT conventions (show-and-tells), and platform team meetings to evangelize the program.
- Gather data and insights from product teams to aid in strategically planning
- Align design system to product team initiatives and OKR's
- Share and Aileron roadmap with Product Management Organization roadmaps and ORK
- Facilitate Aileron adoption agreements with product teams
- Champion iterative improvements and updates to the design system based on feedback and data.
Skills Must have - Knowledge and understanding of the value of community building around an enterprise assets (such as design systems, or share data, or cross-enterprise tools)
- Social connector, ability to identify and form relationships with key influences throughout organization
- Strong communication skills, ability to write and converse with both technical and business stakeholders Surrounding team/key projects: Reusable Frontend initiative: Migrate existing design system codebase from web components/lit to native-specific Angular and React
