The Impact You'll Make in this Role
Solventum's Purification & Filtration Division is seeking a USAC Area Portfolio / Marketing Manager for the Bioprocessing profit center. The person hired for the position of USAC Area Portfolio / Marketing Manager - Bioprocessing will be responsible for managing and growing the portfolio of Bioprocessing products across a variety of channels in the United States and Canada. The Area Portfolio / Marketing Manager will work with both the USAC Bioprocessing Sales Team as well as Purification & Filtration (P&F) Global Marketing to set direction and go-to-market strategy for this $100M+ business.
As a Portfolio Manager for the Bioprocessing business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Assisting the USAC Bioprocessing Sales Team in achieving sales forecast
- Aligning with Global Marketing on new product development and go-to-market strategy
- Developing marketing strategies and programs to support direct customers, as well as customers in multiple Purification and Filtration channels
- Collaborating with other Purification and Filtration businesses to support Global Bioprocessing strategic accounts as needed
- Setting price, margin, and operating strategy for the portfolio moving forward
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of job-related experience in Industrial or Bioprocessing sales, marketing, analytics or business development
- Ability to multi-task and work in a highly matrixed organization
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of job-related experience in Industrial or Bioprocessing sales, marketing, analytics or business development in a private, public, government or military environment
- Proven track record in new product launches and commercialization
- Proven track record of success and sales forecast attainment
- Experience building marketing plans and pricing strategies
