Job Description

The Specialty Business Units and R&D Legal supports the business in Oncology, Plasma-Derived Therapies, Vaccines, Research & Development, Data, Digital & Technology as well as Contracts (US and Ex-US).

Join the legal departments supporting Oncology, Plasma-Derived Therapies, Vaccines, and research and development (R&D), which includes a team focused on data, technology, and innovation, as well as external partnerships.

How You Will Contribute:

• Projects may include researching and/or summarizing new and emerging laws and regulations concerning drug development, clinical trials, interactions with healthcare providers, and related matters, both in the US and international
• Analyzing and/or summarizing key terms of strategic collaborations, license agreements, and other agreements; participating in meetings and discussions with business owners or other counsel on business activities or proposals; and other projects as they arise.

Internship Development Opportunities:

• This opportunity will expose interns to multiple therapeutic areas within Takeda, as well as multiple legal disciplines within the pharmaceutical industry, including contracts, commercial, and research and development activities.
  

Job Requirements:

• This is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, MA
• Current undergraduate student or currently enrolled in law school

Internship Eligibility

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
• The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 22nd) or (June 16th - August 29th)
  • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
• Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

• Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate's school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:

• Paid sick time

• Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
