Urology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: 5/1/2025
• End Date: Unknown
• Schedule: 4-8 shifts per month, including weekday/night call and weekend coverage. Block typically Friday evening - Monday morning. Occasional weekday clinic coverage.
• Clinic Hours: 8a-5p
• Night Call: 5p-8a
• 24hr Call: 8a-8a
• No Clinic on weekends
• For weekday clinic is 8a-4:30p but out of the clinic by 5

Clinical Details:

• Specialty: Urology
• Call: In-House; Telephone; 30min Response
• EMR: Cerner and Epic, Profee for inpatient billing
• Support Staff: Provider will work solo
• Average Admissions While On Call: 2
• Average Inpatient per day: 5-15
• Average Admissions per day: 5
• Average Consults per day: 5-8
• Procedures: Cystoscopy, Vasectomy, Lithotripsy, Stents, Hydrocele's
• For inpatient, provider is required to round, consult and perform necessary procedures
• Provider will be doing both inpatient and outpatient during the weekday.
• Inpatient rounding on weekends is likely
• OR/Surgery Days in Hospital: None at present, elective but emergencies as needed.
• Elective procedures are being referred back to employed physicians. No scheduled OR days, only emergencies.

Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified; Board Eligible
• DEA Required: Yes
• State Licensure: Pennsylvania
• State License Required to Apply: Yes
• Accepts IMLC: Yes
• Minimum Years of Experience: 5
• Certifications Required: BLS (required for clinic), ACLS not required for hospital/OR work
• Must be local to drive in - within 3-3.5 hours of location
