Urology Physician

Coverage Needed :

• July 2025 - ongoing
• 3-6 months
• Schedule: Clinic 8 AM - 4 PM, Call 24 hours (7 AM - 7 AM), Night Call 5 PM - 7 AM
• Minimum Commitment: 3 months
• Minimum Shifts Preferred: 5-6 days of call plus clinic per month
• Open Dates: Week of 7/28-8/1, 8/25-8/29, 9/22-9/26, 10/13-17, 10/20-25, 10/27-31, 11/3-7, 11/17-21, 11/24-28

Clinical Details :

• Provider may take hospital call during clinic hours
• Required Procedures: Bread and butter urology
• Duties: general urology care in clinic and on call, Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections, etc.
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Number of surgeries: 20-30 per month
• Call Volume: 20% consults, 80% callback; 1 in 6
• Admissions: Hospitalist team present
• Rounding: Locum will round
• EMR: Epic
• Should be interested in a wide variety of general cases, clinic, rounding, and OR
• Will be sole provider in a fast paced/busy dept
• Robot onsite at hospital for cases if needed

Requirements :

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Active WA or IMLC license (must be in hand)
• BLS certification
• Local candidates - Preferred
