Job Title: Locum Urologist Facility and Practice Overview
Summary: We are seeking a full-time, bread-and-butter Urologist for our busy clinic in Silverdale, WA. The position requires both clinic and call responsibilities over a 3-6 month period. You'll benefit from a robust support system, including a clinic manager who will provide an orientation before your start date. Our focus is on general cases, clinic rounds, and operating room duties. This is a collegial environment where good patient interaction and customer service skills are paramount. The facility is equipped with robotic surgery capabilities for cases when necessary, making it an ideal setting for patient care.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide general urology care in the clinic and on-call.
- Perform necessary surgical procedures including cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, TURP, and more.
- Manage patient volume of approximately 20-25 patients per day.
- Conduct 20-30 surgeries per month.
- Rounding responsibilities while collaborating with the hospitalist team.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation.
- Supervise and care for established patients in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology - Required
- Active Washington State Medical License - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to provide requested shift availability
License and Certification Requirements
- Active Washington State Medical License (must be uploaded)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional supporting certifications (e.g., DEA, ACLS) can be beneficial
