Locum Urologist - Call Coverage Only
About the Opportunity:
Hospital is seeking a Board Eligible Urologist to provide dedicated call coverage starting July 1, 2025, with an ongoing need. This is a call-only opportunity, requiring the physician to manage all urological calls without APP support during the coverage period.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing 24/7 on-call coverage for all urological needs from Thursday morning to the following Tuesday morning.
- Responding to calls from the Emergency Department and hospital regarding urological consults and emergencies.
- Providing guidance and treatment recommendations via phone and in-person as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Urology.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in NC.
- Experience providing urological call coverage.
- Ability to manage a wide range of urological emergencies and consults independently, without APP support.
Call Coverage: Dedicated call coverage from Thursday 7:00 AM to the following Tuesday 7:00 AM.
APP Support: No APP support available during call coverage.
