Other Details: A Level II trauma facility in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Urology physician (MD/DO) for 4-8 shifts per month, covering weekday/night call and weekend inpatient rounding. The typical block is Friday evening to Monday morning, with occasional weekday clinic coverage (8 AM-5 PM). Weekend duties include inpatient rounding, consults (5-8 per day), and emergency procedures, with no scheduled OR days. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience and have BLS certification. Call responsibilities include in-house, telephone, and 30-minute response, with an average of 2 admissions per night. EMR systems used are Cerner and Epic. The provider will work solo, with support staff available. Procedures include cystoscopy, vasectomy, lithotripsy, stents, and hydroceles.
