Job Opportunity: Urology Physician

The facility offers a state-of-the-art environment with a focus on providing comprehensive care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The new clinic recently opened in November 2024, providing modern resources and support, including local urologists accessible via phone, nursing staff, urology techs, and hospitalists.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical coverage in urology, including consultations and call support.
- Manage a range of patient cases, focusing primarily on adult patients.
- Conduct 5-10 telephone consults per day, responding to patient needs effectively.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
- Participate in both inpatient and outpatient rounds, addressing active consults as needed.
- Facilitate admissions in collaboration with hospitalists, ensuring quality patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- Fellowship training in a relevant specialty is preferred.
- Active medical license in the state of New Mexico (temporary privileges available).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current and active medical license (temporary privileges available).
- Board certification required (eligible accepted).
