Shift: Standard Shift (Mon to Fri) 40 Hours/Week

Job Description:

• Provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards American Association for Urologist.

• The Urologist will provide onsite care to include clinical coverage, consultation, evaluation, assessment, treatment, minor or major surgical procedures.

• On call coverage and call backs are also a requirement not included in the 40 hours weekly description.

• Responsible for consultations to urology and will be available to discuss and or examine patients when consults are requested on a 24/7 basis, including federal holidays.

• For inpatient consults, the attending will meet with each new patient seen in consultation, write a personal progress note and sign the electronic medical record.

• The attending will be responsible for the management of consultation requests in conjunction with administrative personnel.

• The attending must also monitor time to completion rates, and actions to correct deficiencies in performance or documentation.

• Physician shall be available and present in clinic during normal A Health Care System clinic hours which will be established, and may be revised, as deemed appropriate for patient care by the Chief of Staff.

License and Certification:

• The physician to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite.

• All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses.

• Physician who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.

• Required Board Certified Urology Surgery Physician Services on site.
