Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work locum shifts in Fayetteville, Martinsburg, Princeton, Beckley, West Virginia (WV). Starting on June 22, 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Urgent Care role:
Shifts- 12hr shifts Mon-Sun 8a-8p, 20 shifts per month
Must see all ages
Providers will see patients with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, sprains, minor burns, they may do splints. Typical Urgent Care assignment, anything high acuity will get referred to the local ER.
EMR- EPIC
Requirements of the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role:
WV state license; active, unrestricted
Board Certified
3 Year of NP/PA Urgent Care experience
Certifications- BLS, ACLS and PALS
