- Other Details: A facility in West Virginia is seeking a Board-Certified provider with at least 3 years of experience for an urgent care opportunity starting June 22, 2025. Candidates must hold an active West Virginia medical license (NLC candidates will be considered if they obtain a full WV license by the start date) and have a valid DEA and CSR license. This position offers full privileges (including temp privileges) and requires coverage of 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Sunday, with a minimum availability of shifts per month (20 preferred). The provider will work solo and treat typical urgent care cases such as cold/flu symptoms, rashes, sprains, abrasions, minor burns, and may perform splinting; high-acuity cases are referred to the ER. The role includes 80% adult and 20% pediatric patients, supported by medical assistants and rad techs onsite.
