Our Dallas area client company is searching for a Laravel/PHP Web Developer to join a small team of enterprise-level developers to work with Fortune 1000 clients to design, develop, and support web applications. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal program managers to translate complex business initiatives into innovative solutions.

To be considered, candidates must have 3-4 years of professional experience writing OO code using the Laravel developer ecosystem (Homestead, Forge, Envoyer, Horizon, etc.) and packages (Mix, Dusk, Echo, Scout, Passport, Socialite, etc.) that is scalable, performant, and secure. They must further have 1+ years of PHP web development experience; 3+ years of experience with MySQL or similar relational databases; have knowledge of reactive JavaScript frameworks (preferably Alpine.js) and Source code management (preferably Bitbucket or Git); have experience with application architecture and SOLID principles; have experience consuming RESTful APIs; and have experience creating functional and unit test cases.

Although not required, experience with HTML, CSS (LESS, SASS), Bootstrap, jQuery, Gulp/Grunt/ Webpack, AWS, Redis, and/or with queues/workers in a distributed workload system (ideally Supervisor and Redis) is highly preferred.

Candidates must also be self-motivated, creative, and passionate about developing solid web application solutions for their client companies; have strong communication skills; love working in a fast-paced agency environment; enjoy being involved in all phases of the full SDLC; and approach software development as both an entrepreneur as well as an engineer.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and be able to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship or visa transfer.

This is a permanent direct-hire hybrid (WFH/remote Mondays and Fridays) opportunity with a base salary from $90-120K, DOE, plus an excellent full benefit package that includes a 401(k) with an employer match.
