Administrative Volunteer with Harmony Hospice- Youngstown, Ohio
Our primary goal is to make sure that the end-of-life experience is as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Beyond alleviating pain and symptoms, we emphasize emotional health and a harmonious mindset. Likewise, we address the spiritual and social needs of family members both during and after the end-of-life period. Our Harmony Volunteers are an essential part of that mission, providing support in a variety of ways.
Our Administrative Volunteers provide clerical support in our Youngstown offices. Volunteer activities available
- Filing
- Data entry
- Making packets for hospice patients
- Answering phones
- Mailing bereavement literature to hospice families
- Organizing hospice supplies
- Calling patients and families
- And so much more.
Qualifications - Availability of time and skills that pertain to the volunteer activity
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and take directions well
Time commitment- Must be able to volunteer at the times of your choosing between the office hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday
