This role includes system deployment, configuration, cybersecurity compliance, performance tuning, customer support, and program oversight for global mission-critical IT infrastructure. Job Description: Administer, configure, and maintain UNIX/Linux (Red Hat, Solaris, HP-UX) systems across virtual and standalone environments. Implement system upgrades, security patches, and STIG-compliant configurations in accordance with DLA policies. Manage user/system accounts using Red Hat Identity Manager (IDM) and support ACAS scanning and vulnerability remediation. Install and support COTS applications (e.g., Splunk, HBSS, ArcSight) and monitor performance, logs, and alerts. Troubleshoot complex issues involving system performance, integrity, and security for both NIPRnet and SIPRnet environments. Provide Tier II/III technical support and maintain CRM, SLA, MOU/MOA, and escalation documentation across CONUS/OCONUS. Support RMF/DIACAP security assessments, accreditation readiness, and compliance with DoD, NIST, and DLA cybersecurity frameworks. Assist in planning, executing, and closing out IT infrastructure projects, including briefings and documentation deliverables. Conduct technical reviews and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support transitions or consolidations. Ensure change management compliance, and maintain system audit trails, incident reports, and IAVM responses. Participate in the development of enterprise tools and benchmarking templates to support infrastructure planning. Conduct IA Control Validation (IACV) reviews, audit trail evaluations, and vulnerability scans on a recurring basis. Qualifications (Must Haves): Must possess an active Secret Clearance. Must be on-site during business hours at one of the DLA locations: Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; and Richmond, VA. Seven (7) years of systems administration experience on UNIX operating systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Solaris, or HP-UX. Relevant RHCSA or CompTIA Linux+ certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
