As a Unix/Linux Systems Engineer, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure team supporting various projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to challenges which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Unix/Linux Systems Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
What's the Job? - Perform in-place upgrades and OS upgrades for RHEL7 to 8 Operating Systems.
- Utilize Ansible for automation and configuration management tasks.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Unix/Linux systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.
- Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
What's Needed? - Proven experience with Unix/Linux system administration, particularly RHEL.
- Strong knowledge of in-place upgrades and OS upgrades.
- Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
