University Advancement Office AssistantDescription The University Advancement Office Assistant is a work study position. The Office Assistant will assist in various administrative and operational areas of the Office of University Advancement under the direction of the Administrative and Communications Coordinator. Life University has developed and implemented an Honor Code and Standards of Conduct, which serve as a set of expectations for the living and learning environment provided by the University.
Responsibilities- Package and mail materials for correspondence
- Assist with filing, typing, copying, mailing and faxing documents
- Assist executive members with administrative tasks as needed
- Greet visitors at front desk and direct them to the proper personnel
- Assist with office errands as needed
- Answer phone and take messages
- Screen calls accordingly to where the call should be directed
- Take full messages
- Assist with Development and Alumni & Friends projects as needed
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Must sign a confidentiality agreement
- Must be available to work 12 hours per week minimum
- Have a reliable mode of transportation
- Provide supervisor and HR with an Award Letter each Financial Aid year
Requirements- Current Life University student in good academic standing.
- Perform all duties with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service oriented and dependable
- Great organizational skills
- Microsoft Office experience
