Rapidly growing organization is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist located in the Somerset County area. For this role you must have experience with union payroll to be considered.

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily payroll department operations.
  • Manage workflow to ensure that payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.
  • Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance.
  • Execute Time & Attendance processing and interface with payroll.
  • Assist employees in registering for or resetting access to online pay stubs.
  • Process certified payroll reports.
Payroll Specialist Qualifications:
  • At least three years of union payroll experience required
  • Knowledge of state and union overtime rules a must.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of timberline a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
