Rapidly growing organization is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist located in the Somerset County area. For this role you must have experience with union payroll to be considered.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:- Perform daily payroll department operations.
- Manage workflow to ensure that payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
- Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.
- Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance.
- Execute Time & Attendance processing and interface with payroll.
- Assist employees in registering for or resetting access to online pay stubs.
- Process certified payroll reports.
Payroll Specialist Qualifications:- At least three years of union payroll experience required
- Knowledge of state and union overtime rules a must.
- Construction experience preferred.
- Knowledge of timberline a plus.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
