Our work depends on a Unified Communications Engineer joining our team to provide state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) engineering and management leadership to enable our customer to increase mission success and enhance mission capabilities in the critical areas of national security, law enforcement, intelligence, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism. HOW A UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Manages and troubleshoots Avaya and MSTP (Managed Secure Telephony Platform) systems.
Oversees all engineering activities related to MSTP configuration and ensuring proper endpoint connectivity.
Resolving technical issues within systems, troubleshooting performance problems, and ensuring operations efficiently.
Ensures that Avaya and MSTP solutions are configured and optimized to meet business needs.
Maintaining and supporting EVoIP (Enterprise Voice over IP) systems, ensuring they are functioning at peak performance.
Provides essential back-end engineering support for troubleshooting MSTP and resolving T4 tickets related to telephony issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Provides business process modeling and reengineering support
Provides secure reach-back supports
Ensures that technical strategies align with business needs WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, or other equivalent technical discipline (may substitute with commensurate work experience). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of related experience REQUIRED TECHINICAL SKILLS: Experience in Avaya, Managed Secure Telephony Platform (MSTP), Cisco, Microsoft TAC, Power Bi, SAFe CLEARANCE: TS/SCI LOCATION: Washington, DC GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
