Talent Space, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Engineer with experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting VoIP, PBX, and cloud-based communication systems, between phone systems and SaaS applications. An expertise in phone system integrations with SaaS platforms is a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with PBX, SIP trunking, and cloud telephony providers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Develop and troubleshoot API-based integrations between unified communications platforms and SaaS applications (e.g., CRM, ERP, contact center solutions).
  • Design, implement, and manage VoIP and cloud-based phone systems to integrate with SaaS platforms.
  • Collaborate with software development and IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of phone system integrations.
  • Optimize call routing, IVR, and telephony workflows to enhance user experience and efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for telephony-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards for communication systems.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, integration processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in UCaaS, VoIP, and SaaS communication technologies.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Unified Communications or VoIP engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with SaaS phone integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., QoS, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs) related to UC deployments.
  • Strong experience with SIP, PBX, VoIP, and cloud-based phone systems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams Voice, Zoom Phone, RingCentral, 8x8).
  • Experience with CRM and contact center integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JSON-based APIs).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for call quality issues, SIP signaling, and network performance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNP Collaboration, Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, or Avaya ACIS.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for UC systems, including encryption and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with AI-driven call analytics and sentiment analysis tools.
