Job Summary and Qualifications:
The diagnostic sonographer is a skilled professional qualified by academic and clinical training to provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound under the supervision of a physician responsible for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures. The sonographer may be involved with the patients of the physicians in any medical setting where the physician is responsible.
What qualifications you will need:

3-6 months of Sonographer experience required (Acute care experience is not required)

Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days

Certificate or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound

ARDMS registry or ARRT (S)

Registered Vascular Specialist, or Vascular Sonography, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

On Call Requirement: Yes, rotating schedule with team
