Ultrasound Technologist

Performs ultrasound scanning procedures, reports findings to radiologist, takes anatomical images, consults with radiologist for interpretation, releases patients, provides reports, ensures operational excellence, communicates information to staff. Minimum education: graduate of accredited ultrasound program, R.D.M.S. or registry eligible. Minimum work experience: one to two years. Required licenses/certifications: ARDMS certification. Required skills: effective communication, dealing with individuals, medical terminology knowledge, basic computer knowledge, patient and equipment handling, working independently, English communication, OSHA regulations compliance.
