Overview: The Ultrasound Technologist conducts diagnostic ultrasound exams to aid physicians in patient evaluation and treatment, requiring independent judgment and technical skills while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Education: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasound Technology required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT - Sonography required; BCLS certification within 7 days of employment required.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist required; 2-4 years preferred.
