Diagnostic Medical Sonographers produce sonographic images of High-Risk OB/Gyne , General and vascular structures and internal organs and cavities for use in diagnosing disease. During this process they must be able to operate the Diagnostic Ultrasound equipment to obtain the most diagnostic images possible using the appropriate transducers and operational controls.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent degree with a Diagnostic Medical Sonography certificate.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years' experience as a Sonographer preferred but will consider new graduates based on interview and scanning competency.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions and established procedures.
Ability to function independently and manage your own time and work tasks.
Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency.
Ability to organize workflow.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certified within two years of hire.
o RDMS (AB, OB/GYN) or Breast is required for caregivers in General and OB/Gyne areas.
o RVT is required for caregivers in Vascular.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
