UKG Payroll Systems Administrator
Location: Onsite in Denver, CO (preferred)
Salary: $100,000-$125,000

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the UKG system, acting as the system manager and managing the payroll processor.
  • Identify and implement improvements to optimize the UKG system for payroll efficiency.
  • Build system controls, reporting, and visibility to enhance payroll operations.
  • Work towards automating the UKG system to accommodate future growth and acquisitions.
  • Configure, administer, and troubleshoot UKG Pro and UKG WFM.
  • Ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with tax regulations while reviewing audit reports.
  • Develop controls and reporting structures to improve payroll processing.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and Accounting & Finance teams to integrate systems and streamline workflows.
  • Oversee system configurations for year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation.
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing during peak times.
  • Support the integration of new acquisitions into the payroll system.
  • Manage open enrollments, benefits changes, and assist with General Ledger rules configuration.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with UKG Pro (required)
  • UKG WFM or similar timekeeping systems experience (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for identifying and solving system issues
  • Willingness to address and fill knowledge gaps related to payroll systems
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and Accounting & Finance
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred
