Job Title: UKG Functional Tester

Location: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 9+ Months Contract


Job Description:


• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in functional testing of UKG Pro (formerly Kronos Workforce Dimensions/Workforce Central).


• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional test plans and test cases for the UKG Pro platform, specifically focusing on Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and EZ Call modules.


• Perform thorough functional testing, including system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.


• Identify, document, and track defects using a designated defect management system, ensuring clear and concise reporting.


• Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.


• Develop a strong understanding of UKG processes and configurations related to Staffing, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Absence and Leave Management, and EZ Call.


• Utilize your knowledge of UKG reports to support the product team in validating data integrity and system functionality.


• Participate in test planning and estimation activities.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.


• Potentially contribute to the creation and maintenance of test data.


• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding test progress, results, and potential risks.


What are the top skills required for this role?


• Proven expertise in testing the Scheduling, Time & Attendance, and EZ Call modules within UKG Pro.


• Strong understanding of UKG processes and configurations related to Staffing, Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Absence and Leave Management, and EZ Call.


• Experience in utilizing and understanding UKG standard reports and the ability to analyze data to support testing efforts.


• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and the software development lifecycle.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.


• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
