Job Details Key Responsibilities: - Translate business requirements into UI/UX design proposals using Figma/Sketch/Balsamiq/etc.
- Attend requirements-gathering meetings with the Stakeholders, Product Owners, and IT Business Analysts
- Provide a technical perspective in solution design meetings with the Product Owners and IT Business Analysts
- Understand data concepts and know how to: retrieve data, analyze how the data is related to requirements, perform data mapping and modeling, identify patterns, draw conclusions, and effectively summarize findings into useable recommendations
- Understand business process flows for current, transition, and future states, and help to identify and resolve gaps.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other partners to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals, iterate on solutions, and support the crafting of viable MVP-style features
- Present and communicate mockups, interaction design, user flows, prototypes, and other design artifacts to the Product Team and Stakeholder groups
- Collaborate with Software Developers to understand technical limitations and constraints, and to create technical work items and enabler stories needed to support solution designs
- Work as a member of a Scrum team, leveraging both technical and design skills to proactively take on a wide variety of tasks that may be necessary to meet sprint goals
- Understand and actively participate in refinement, story pointing, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives
- Utilize a wide variety of requirements techniques to supplement user stories where appropriate (decision tables, wireframes, story mapping, example mapping, etc.)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years UI/UX experience in a software product team: prototyping, designing, and shipping full-stack software products
- Expertise in UI/UX wireframing and design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and Balsamiq
- Proficiency in Data Modeling and SQL
- 2+ years of experience working on a Scrum team and executing work within the Scrum framework.
- Experience applying user-centered design principles and best practices

- Strong technical understanding of all aspects of software development, including data modeling and database concepts
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey important information, ask effective questions, and listen and synthesize information
- Clear, concise written communication skills, including the ability to adjust writing style for the needs of various audiences and clearly articulate complex concepts
- Teamwork skills, including fostering a collaborative environment, effectively resolving conflicts, and maintaining team members' trust and respect
