Job Title: Logistician/Procurement and Programmer Analyst VIII

This is a contingent position and requires a secret security clearance. The Senior Level Analyst/Logistician/ Programmer/Specialist (Analyst VIII) is responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the tasks assigned. This individual will support Digital Enterprise product data and Digital Thread framework management and review/verify the receipt of Logistics Product Data and the Digital System Model. The location of the position may change.

Responsibilities:

• Support Digital Enterprise product data and Digital Thread framework management.

• Provide review and verification in the receipt of Logistics Product Data and the Digital System Model.

• Identify, plan, and develop documentation to resource and acquire support equipment. The support equipment may include common, mobile, fixed, and other

specialized equipment required to sustain the operation and maintenance of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems over the lifecycle of the system.

• Develop, implement, and maintain current comprehensive product support strategies for the Uncrewed Aircraft systems.

• Use appropriate predictive analyses and modeling tools to develop COAs for the Government consideration of ways to improve material availability and reliability, increase operational availability rates, and reduce operation and sustainment costs.

• Provide administrative and clerical support for the Project Office.

• Provide administrative staff support in areas such as reception, file management, word processing, scheduling, database maintenance, document preparation, technical writing and documentation, development of deliverables, meetings, and conference support.

• Other related administrative and clerical activities are also required, such as, maintaining the Project Office calendar, creating travel documentation, updating travel status, making arrangements for All Hands Meetings, and preparing official documentation and correspondence IAW Army Regulation (AR) 25-50.

• Develop purchase requests.

• Provide general knowledge and "hands-on" experience using the Army's General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and the Army's Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) software, LMP databases, and equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.

• Develop, draft, submit, and update documentation in support of contract actions to include credit card purchases, cell phone service, cable service, and small dollar hardware and software procurements utilizing Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS).

• Provide acquisition support including supporting preparation and review of program baselines; developing purchase requests and documents required for: preparing supporting documentation, such as, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Technical Data Packages, Production Plans, System Improvement Plans, and Transition Plans; and identifying cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs during product development.

• Develop, provide, and update integrated master schedules for all major programs utilizing Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.

• Develop, provide, and update schedules for programs.

• Adhere to the company's AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• A bachelor's Degree in Program Management, Project Management, Business Management, Economics, or related discipline or meet the requisite experience listed below.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), or possess a Level III Program Management Certification from the Defense Acquisition University.

• The Senior Level Analyst/Logistician/ Programmer/Specialist/ (Analyst VIII) is responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the tasks

• Experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.

• Must have a minimum of 20 years of related experience and show completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree appropriate to the field of expertise, acquisition, logistics, business or management.


• Education Substitution:
Three additional years of task related experience (a total of 23 years) may be used in lieu of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Meets the following criteria in lieu of the specified degree field: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), or possess a Level III Program Management Certification from the Defense Acquisition University.
  • A bachelor's Degree in Program Management, Project Management, Business Management, Economics, or related discipline
