We are seeking a TurboCell Electronics Test Engineer to work directly with the Edged Energy team and contribute to the testing and validation of our new power generation product.


The TurboCell Electronics Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans for our new power generation product. This role involves working closely with the engineering team to ensure the product meets all performance, reliability, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power electronics and experience with testing methodologies

Key Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for power electronics systems.
  • Design and set up test environments, including hardware and software configurations.
  • Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on power generation products.
  • Analyze test data and identify issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Document test procedures, results, and findings in a clear and organized manner.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on product improvements.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics and testing technologies.

Skills & Requirements

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in power electronics testing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics principles and components.
  • Strong understanding of Power Generation.
  • Experience with software tools for data acquisition and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics.

Specific Skills / Abilities

  • Experience in Power Generation service or design or related field.
  • Experience with turbines or combustion engines.
  • Experience with automated testing systems and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems and technologies.
  • Certification in relevant testing methodologies or standards.
