Bailey Information Technology Consultants is interviewing team members with experience as a Staff Officer/ Office Manager to join our team. Upcoming Opportunity: Job Title: Staff Officer/ Office Manager, Leve 4 Location: Springfield, VA Security Clearance: TS/SCI Overall Assignment Description: The Staff Officer will support the Director and Deputy Directors by performing various functions and tasks, which require vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining, and implementing policy. The Staff Officer shall gather information, and provide analysis, advice, options, recommendations, and ideas to the customer to manage projects. Duties: Drafts and maintains internal administrative instructional and informational material for use in improving and standardizing business operations. Executes a variety of administrative functions including but not limited to: Vets, assigns, and tracks the status of official NGA Central Electronic Routing and Taking System (N-CERTs) tasking Tracks and assists with space and equipment requirements and property management. Assists with records management, assists with information management Assists with security administration, Assists with other related activities Generate status reports for supported activities Communicate with SFG Leadership and Subject Matter Experts relating to taskers/requests. Assists with the proper procedures of responding to taskers/requests, creates staff summary sheets, and ensures proper formats are provided with taskings. Maintains office records for all answered taskings. Assists with the preparation, coordination, consolidation, and final packaging to provide to SF leadership for final approval. Collaborates with other Lead Suspense Coordinators to resolve task(s) related issues or to seek revised task due dates. Skills and Experience: Required:
• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience (8 additional years of experience may be substituded for the bachelors degree)
• Experience in gathering information and critical thinking capacity to synthesize information.
• Ability to support activities and scheduling for corporate support events
• Ability to extract and synthesize complex information to prepare briefings, staff material, read-ahead, and presentations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding and use of Microsoft Office Applications and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently or under limited supervision and deliver outcomes on time.
• Experience supporting Department of Defense/Intelligence Community offices and programs. Desired:
