Key Responsibilities:
- File Management: Oversee and manage 50 active files, balancing workload and client interactions effectively.
- Probate and Estate Administration: Draft probate pleadings, including Form 706 (U.S. estate tax return), and handle high-end trust and estate matters.
- Document Organization: Organize and summarize various legal documents and sources efficiently.
- Client Communication: Maintain extensive communication with clients and case parties, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
- Autonomous Work: Operate independently while meeting billable hour requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Trusts and Estates, with a solid understanding of Florida practices.
- Education/Certification: A Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate is preferred
- Skills: Proficiency in written and verbal communication, organization, time management, and multitasking is essential.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
