A growing private wealth management firm with a mission to provide its clients with superior long-term returns no matter market performance and offices across the east coast is looking to bring on a Trust Officer who can come in and be a jack of all trades, doing work from trust administration to developing new business
Job Responsibilities
- Work with Fiduciary team to support and provide resources necessary wealth and investment solutions
- Prepare new account opening documents, coordinate asset transfers and work with the custodians to assist with client on-boarding
- Responsible the day-to-day administration of trust accounts and any estate administration
- Conduct annual reviews of trust accounts and a post 90-day review of any new account while presenting these findings to the Trust Committee
- Prepare for audits
- Partner with investment and client advisory team to prepare Investment Policy Statements for clients and provide full reviews for fiduciary relationships
- Monitor compliance of all investments with the Investment Policy Statements
- Work on ad-hoc projects as needed - PowerPoint, Excel
- Understand reporting and how to access system for reports
- Travel and meet with clients and prospects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in trust and estate administration
- Experience administering trust and investment accounts with a third party a custodian a plus
- Knowledge of financial reporting and asset aggregation systems
- Understanding of financial transactions and trust administration
- Experience executing investment transactions in client portfolios including hedge funds, public securities, real estate and private equity
- Familiarity with transaction processing and financial services operations
